PETOE: ESTABLISHING A NEW JOINT TALENT TRAINING MECHANISM FOR UNIVERSITIES AND INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES

Resumen

As a serve to China national strategy, PETOE, the Plan for Educating and Training Outstanding Engineers , is a national action in China’s higher education reform and development with the leading, innovation and breakthrough property. PETOE mainly puts forward five key tasks, the “establishing a new joint talent training mechanism by universities and industry enterprise” is the core one among them. The task mainly includes four parts: firstly, setting up a coordination mechanism for multi government ministries and commissions in the implementation of PETOE; secondly, establishing an implementation mechanism of industry guidance and university-enterprise alliance in the implementation of PETOE; thirdly, building a talent training mechanism of university-enterprise cooperation for PETOE; fourthly, to study and formulate relevant policies, exploring the establishment college students practice system under China's characteristic socialism market economy condition. Emphasizing on engineering talent training pertinence and adaptability, the task’s goal is to transfer the supply and demand relationship between universities and enterprises into the collaboration one, in order to establish the institutionalization contact between universities and enterprises.

In this paper, the discussion of the above content is focused on the progress introduction, the results obtained and problems faced, etc.
